Reservations

A reservation will only be confirmed once a valid credit card number has been given.

The bill shall be payable when you pick up your companion pet.

For all cancellations a minimum of $50 shall be retained or one of the following amounts, whichever is greater:

  • Within 1 week of entry date: 20% of the total bill will be retained;
  • Within 48 hours of entry date: 50% of the total will be retained;
  • For clients that do not show up: 50% of the total bill shall be retained.


Vaccination

For the health and well-being of all the animals under our care, proof of up-to-date vaccination is required.
  • Dogs: required vaccines are:
    • Rabies
    • DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza)
    • Bordetella (ask your veterinarian, this vaccine is not part of the annual vaccines)
  • Cats: required vaccines are:
    • RCP ( rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleucopenia)

The client is aware that no vaccine is 100% guaranteed and that certain viruses are omnipresent.

Animals not accepted

We reserve the right to refuse any animal not vaccinated or without proof of vaccines, or which are or have been ill with a contagious disease in the last 30 days.

The client is aware that no vaccine is 100% guaranteed and that certain viruses are omnipresent.

AUBERGE ZEN assures you of the cleanliness and disinfection of the premises.


Parasites

The owner is responsible for the prevention of internal and external parasites of his animal.

During its stay with us, if an internal or external parasite is detected on your companion, the necessary treatment will be given and all charges will be billed to the owner.


In case of emergency

The owner needs to provide:
  • A phone number where he/she may be reached.
  • The name and phone number of a responsible contact person.
  • The name and co-ordinates of his/her veterinary.
  • Instructions to be followed.
  • The maximum amount to be spent at a veterinarian if no one can be reached.
In the event of an emergency:
  • Auberge Zen will attempt to contact the owner or contact person using all phone numbers provided.
  • If we are unable to contact anyone, we will bring the animal to the animal's veterinarian or one that Auberge Zen chooses to provide immediate emergency care.

All veterinary charges as well as transportation fees of 20$ will be billed to the owner.


Doggy daycare and group outings

If the owner accepts to have his/her dog in daycare or to have the dog in group outings, and the dog is suited to do so:
  • The owner is aware and accepts that certain risks are always present when 2 or more dogs are taken out together.
  • Auberge Zen assures you that we take all necessary precautions and that animals are under constant supervision.


Clients that do not return to pick-up the animal

If the owner does not pick up or have picked up his animal within 72 hours of convened date:
  • Auberge Zen will attempt to contact the owner or the contact person using all numbers provided by owner, and if it is impossible...
  • Auberge Zen reserves the right to place the animal in a rescue devoted to the protection of animals.
All charges incurred will be billed to the owner.
